In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Tri County Area Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Carson City-Crystal Eagles.

The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Lions come into the Central State challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Newaygo beat Grant (Grant, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
