Missouri High School Volleyball - Lamar can't get by Diamond
September 8, 2025: Diamond, MO 64840 Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Lamar Tigers (Lamar, MO), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Newton (Granby, MO). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, East Newton was nudged by Pierce City (Pierce City, MO), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Liberal Bulldogs (Liberal, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Lamar will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO).
