Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN) and the visiting Lester Prairie Bulldogs (Lester Prairie, MN), observed Loyola's volleyball team hold off Lester Prairie by a tally of 3-2.

The Crusaders (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Mavericks go into the Valley battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Martin County West was edged by Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glencoe-Silver Lake for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Lester Prairie will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
