Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Walker Valley improves its record to 4-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN) to face the Hustlin' Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Hustlin' Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-3.

The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brainerd for a AA District 5 test on Tuesday, September 9. Meigs County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to McMinn Central (Englewood, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
