Ohio High School Volleyball - Van Buren can't hold off Allen East

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Allen East Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Van Buren Black Knights.

The Mustangs (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Pandora-Gilboa nudged North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Black Knights encounter the Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 11. Van Buren will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH).
