The Berkley Bears overcame the visiting Pontiac Phoenix football squad by a margin of 48-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) in a Oakland - Gold bout, on Friday, September 16. Berkley will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 63-29 league loss to Seaholm (Birmingham, MI).
