The DeSoto Central Jaguars football squad scored 46 points and restricted the host Briarcrest Christian Saints to 34 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Friday.

The Jaguars now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grenada for a non-league battle on Friday, September 16. DeSoto Central will face a Chargers squad coming off a 15-13 non-league win over Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Saints face the Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN) in a Division II-AAA West battle, on Friday, September 16. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Purple Wave enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 44-0 non-league win over White Station (Memphis, TN).
