September 9, 2022: Carbondale, PA 18407 The Hanover Area Hawkeyes football team (Hanover Township, PA), was tipped 14-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA)
The Chargers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tunkhannock was tipped by Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 53-43, in a non-league challenge.
The Hawkeyes now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Pittston for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Hanover Area will play a Patriots squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
