September 9, 2022: Roanoke, VA 24018 In Friday's non-league game, the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) football team tipped the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), by a final score of 10-3.
The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Hidden Valley got by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 32-29, in a non-league game.
The Knights now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Cave Spring will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 30-6 non-league win over Covington (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-0.
