Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA), 40-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Franklin Regional improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gateway (Monroeville, PA) to battle the Gators in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East test on Friday, September 16. The Gators come into the test with a record of 3-0. Gateway won 20-17 in their recent non-league test against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the loss, Connellsville drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Trinity (Washington, PA) to battle the Hillers in a non-league test on Friday, September 16. The Hillers come into the test with a record of 1-2. Trinity lost 38-14 in their recent non-league test against Peters Township (McMurray, PA)
