The Deshler Dragons football team (Deshler, NE), was beaten 36-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Diller-Odell Griffin (Odell, NE)

The Griffin (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE). The Irish come into the D2 District 1 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart achieved victory over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE), 56-28, in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenesaw for a D2 District 6 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 16. Deshler will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 38-14 non-league win over Superior (Superior, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-0.
