The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) and the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), observed East Poinsett County's football squad defeat Walnut Ridge by a count of 46-36.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Corning for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. East Poinsett County will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to Earle (Earle, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
