Virginia High School Football - Glass routs George Washington

September 9, 2022: Lynchburg, VA 24501

The Glass Hilltoppers football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting George Washington Eagles to 0 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a Seminole battle on Friday, September 16. Glass will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 50-14 non-league win over Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a Piedmont battle, on Friday, September 23. George Washington will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
