In Friday's non-league match, the host Higley Knights football squad scored a big 49-7 victory over the Mountain View Mountain Lions.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 16. Higley will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 28-21 non-league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ).

The Mountain Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
