The Union Bears football squad scored 48 points and restricted the host J.I. Burton Black Raiders to 13 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Graham for a non-league battle on Friday, September 16. Union will face a G-Men squad coming off a 48-3 league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Black Raiders face the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a Cumberland battle, on Friday, September 16. J.I. Burton will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
