The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) and the host Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), observed Upper Darby's football squad defeat Penncrest by a count of 35-27.

The Royals now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lower Merion for a Central contest on Saturday, September 17. Upper Darby will encounter a Aces squad coming off a 29-12 league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Aces record now stands at 1-2.
