The Valley View Blazers football squad scored 37 points and restricted the host Rivercrest Colts to 34 in the Blazers non-league victory on Friday.

The Blazers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paragould for a 5A East battle on Friday, September 23. Valley View will play a Rams squad coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Colts play the Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) in a 4A Region 3 battle, on Friday, September 23. Rivercrest will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Redskins enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 47-28 non-league win over Brookland (Brookland, AR).
