West Virginia High School Football - Summers County drops to Shady Spring
September 9, 2022: Shady Spring, WV 25918 In Friday's non-league game, the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) football team knocked off the visiting Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), by a score of 28-20.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots come into the Coalfield AA game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Independence toppled Poca (Poca, WV), 70-8, in a non-league game.
The Bobcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount View for a Coalfield A game on Friday, September 16. Summers County will battle a Golden Knights team coming off a 62-22 league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-2.
