Georgia High School Softball - Appling County bounces Lowndes
September 9, 2022: Baxley, GA 31513 Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Irwin County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Appling County will battle a Indians squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Indians record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Lowndes falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Long County (Ludowici, GA) to battle the Blue Tide in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. The Blue Tide enter the challenge with a record of 10-2. Long County won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA)
