In Friday's non-league contest, the Tintic Miners (Eureka, UT) volleyball squad edged the host Bryce Valley Mustangs (Tropic, UT), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Miners battle the Diamond Ranch Academy Diamondbacks (Hurricane, UT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Tintic will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Diamondbacks come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Valley (Orderville, UT).
