The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks volleyball team (Murrieta, CA), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA)

The Monarchs (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Menlo School defeated JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks encounter the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) in a Southwestern challenge, on Monday, September 12. Murrieta Valley will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA).
