In Saturday's non-league game, the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) football team smashed the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), by a score of 42-6.

The Hawks (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes come into the Eastern Pennsylvania - South game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Liberty was ripped by Parkland (Allentown, PA), 42-14, in a league game.

The Cardinals now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Stroudsburg North for a Eastern Pennsylvania - North game on Friday, September 15. Pocono Mountain East will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 18-14 league win over William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-2.
