The Cypress Park Tigers football team (Cypress, TX), was ripped 49-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX)

The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals come into the 6A Region II District 14 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, MacArthur was ripped by Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 34-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Friday, September 15. Cypress Park will meet a Panthers team coming off a 61-28 non-league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
