September 9, 2023: Zillah, WA 98953 The Zillah Leopards soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Granger Spartans to 1 in the Leopards non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Leopards face the College Place Hawks (College Place, WA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Zillah will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Toppenish (Toppenish, WA).
The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goldendale for a 2B EWAC West contest on Tuesday, September 12. Granger will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-1.
