September 9, 2023: Tamaqua, PA 18252 The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders football squad scored 47 points and restricted the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 6 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Blue Raiders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Salisbury Township for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23. Tamaqua will meet a Falcons team coming off a 28-27 non-league loss to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
