California High School Volleyball - Calaveras edged by Union Mine
September 9, 2023: San Andreas, CA 95249 The Union Mine Diamondbacks held off the host Calaveras Redhawks volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Diamondbacks now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Creek for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Union Mine will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
The Redhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Mustangs enter the test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Argonaut was nudged by Union Mine (El Dorado, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
