September 9, 2023: Algonquin, IL 60102 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) volleyball squad were victorious over the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Jacobs upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Crystal Lake Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9.
