Illinois High School Soccer - McHenry held off by Glenbard West
September 9, 2023: McHenry, IL 60050 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the host McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), saw Glenbard West's soccer squad get by McHenry by a count of 2-1.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Proviso West for a West Suburban - Silver test on Tuesday, September 12. Glenbard West will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, McHenry drops to 3-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Monday, September 11. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 4-3. Harlem lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Guilford (Rockford, IL)
