September 9, 2023: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Highlands Bluebirds soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Roger Bacon Spartans to 0 in the Bluebirds non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Bluebirds face the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY) in a District 36 contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Highlands will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record.
The Spartans now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cincinnati Country Day for a Miami Valley Conf contest on Thursday, September 14. Roger Bacon will face a Nighthawks team coming off a 1-1 non-league Madeira (Cincinnati, OH). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-4.
