September 9, 2023: Russell, KY 41169 The Hurricane Redskins smashed the host Russell Red Devils soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Redskins now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Cabell Midland for a Mountain State match on Tuesday, September 12. Hurricane will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 9-0 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Russell drops to 7-4 on the season. The Red devils host East Carter (Grayson, KY) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, September 11. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 9-0. East Carter won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Rowan County (Morehead, KY)
