September 9, 2023: Shelbyville, IN 46176 The Southwestern Spartans smashed the visiting Lapel Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN) in a Mid-Hoosier challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Southwestern will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Providence Cristo Rey (Indianapolis, IN).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastbrook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
