Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-22 record. They take the field next when they travel to Checotah for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Central will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pocola (Pocola, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Talihina falls to 3-20 on the campaign. The Golden tigers travel to Poteau (Poteau, OK) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11.
