Missouri High School Softball - Kearney bounces Kickapoo
September 9, 2023: Kearney, MO 64060 Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Kearney will battle a Indians squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Fort Osage (Independence, MO). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Kickapoo falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, MO) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Lebanon won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO)
