Iowa High School Volleyball - Denver over AGWSR
September 9, 2023: Ackley, IA 50601 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) and the host AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), saw Denver's volleyball squad beat AGWSR by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Denver upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Cyclones travel to West Delaware (Manchester, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-3.
The Cougars now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Grundy Center for a North Iowa Cedar - West bout on Saturday, September 9. AGWSR will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 15-0.
