California High School Volleyball - Apple Valley over Summit
September 9, 2023: Apple Valley, CA 92308 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA) and the visiting Summit SkyHawks (Fontana, CA), saw Apple Valley's volleyball squad top Summit by a final score of 3-0.
Next up, the Sun Devils clash with the Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) in a Mojave River match, on Monday, September 11. Apple Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Scorpions come into the match with a 11-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA).
With the loss, Summit drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Kaiser (Fontana, CA) to clash with the Cats in a Sunkist match on Tuesday, September 12.
