California High School Volleyball - St. Joseph can't hold off Coastal Christian
September 9, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93455 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Coastal Christian Conquerors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Joseph Knights.
The Conquerors (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Orcutt Academy was edged by Atascadero (Atascadero, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Knights clash with the Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Central Coast Athletic - Mountain battle, on Thursday, September 14. St. Joseph will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Royals come into the battle with a 9-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA).
