September 9, 2023: Iowa City, IA 52246 The Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) volleyball nudged the visiting Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Iowa City West upgrades its record to 3-9 on the year. The Trojans host Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA) to face the Wahawks in a Mississippi Valley - Valley outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Wahawks go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Waterloo West won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA)
The Tigers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Benton for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 13. Grinnell will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-10.
