Minnesota High School Volleyball - Hibbing edged by St. Francis
September 9, 2023: St. Francis, MN 55070 The St. Francis Fighting Saints held off the visiting Hibbing Bluejackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Fighting Saints now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Princeton for a Mississippi 8 test on Saturday, September 9. St. Francis will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Foley (Foley, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
The Bluejackets (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Thunderhawks enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Grand Rapids held off Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
