The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) and the visiting Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS), saw Northern Valley's volleyball squad nip Wallace County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Northern Valley upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Huskies travel to Trego (WaKeeney, KS) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Trego won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Stockton (Stockton, KS)
