In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Southern Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pleasanton Bulldogs.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Amherst nudged Ravenna (Ravenna, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
