California High School Volleyball - West Covina edged by South East
September 9, 2023: South Gate, CA 90280 The South East Jaguars held off the visiting West Covina Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jaguars now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Gabriel for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. South East will confront a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 5-6.
The Bulldogs (5-9) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen enter the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, St. Paul was nudged by Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
