September 9, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90802 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA), saw St. Anthony's volleyball squad beat Valley View by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 4-6 on the year. The Saints travel to Sultana (Hesperia, CA) to play the Sultans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Sultans go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Sultana lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)
The Eagles now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northview for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Valley View will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-11.
