September 9, 2024: Jonesborough, TN 37659 David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, David Crockett advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a AA District 1 test on Wednesday, September 11. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-6. Unicoi County won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN)
The Trailblazers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Morristown-Hamblen East for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Daniel Boone will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-6.
