New York High School Soccer - Whitney Point toppled by Greene
September 9, 2024: Whitney Point, NY 13862 Greene Trojans (Greene, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Whitney Point Eagles (Whitney Point, NY), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Greene moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Walton (Walton, NY) to meet the Warriors in a Midstate Athletic Conference test on Tuesday, September 10. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sidney for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Whitney Point will meet a Team team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY). The Team record now stands at 2-0.
