September 9, 2024: Valparaiso, IN 46385 The Valparaiso Vikings soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting La Porte Slicers to 0 in the Vikings league victory on Monday.
The Vikings now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Michigan City for a Duneland bout on Tuesday, September 10. Valparaiso will play a Wolves squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, La Porte moves to 1-7 on the year. The Slicers host Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a Duneland bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Crown Point won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN)
