New Jersey High School Soccer - Marlboro nudges Princeton
September 9, 2024: Marlboro, NJ 07723 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ), saw Marlboro's soccer squad hold off Princeton by a count of 2-1.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves enter the Shore A - North battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Manalapan was edged by Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Colonial battle, on Thursday, September 12. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
