Pennsylvania High School Football - Saucon Valley tops Palmerton
September 9, 2024: Palmerton, PA 18071 The Saucon Valley Panthers football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Palmerton Blue Bombers to 6 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Saucon Valley will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 32-20 non-league win over North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Palmerton drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blue bombers host Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-0.
