Washington High School Football - River Ridge tops Shelton
September 9, 2024: Lacey, WA 98513 The River Ridge Hawks football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Shelton Highclimbers to 14 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hawks now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kelso for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. River Ridge will meet a Hilanders squad coming off a 30-14 non-league win over Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Hilanders record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Shelton drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Highclimbers host North Thurston (Lacey, WA) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-1. North Thurston lost 37-0 in their recent non-league test against Silas (Tacoma, WA)
