September 9, 2024: King, NC 27021 North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Surry improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Granite Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Granite Bears go into the test with a record of 1-7. Mount Airy won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
The Wildcats now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morehead for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. West Stokes will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
