Virginia High School Soccer - Cristo Rey toppled by Summit Christian Academy
September 9, 2024: Richmond, VA 23221 Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Summit Christian Academy advances its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Ambassadors in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Ambassadors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Norfolk Christian lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA)
The Royals now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host The Carmel School for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Cristo Rey will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
